Clay Ceremony – A Creative Introduction to Hand building

Set of three ceramic dishes with a speckled exterior and blue interior, stacked on a light wooden surface, surrounded by bunches of black grapes.

In this workshop, participants learn hand building techniques to create ceramic pieces such as decorative wall sconces or tiles using custom-designed stencils created specifically for your organization.

Participants press or carve these designs into clay, creating pieces that feel both personal and connected to the brand experience. This workshop is especially popular for corporate events because it blends creativity with brand storytelling.

Kintsugi Workshop – The Art of Repair

A black ceramic bowl with gold rim and crack lines.

Kintsugi is a traditional Japanese art form that celebrates imperfections by repairing broken ceramics with gold.

In this reflective and symbolic workshop, participants explore the philosophy behind Kintsugi — the idea that breakage and repair are part of an object’s story rather than something to hide.

Each participant receives a ceramic piece that they will intentionally break and then carefully reassemble using a specialized adhesive. The seams are finished with gold powder, creating beautiful golden lines that highlight the repaired cracks.

The final piece becomes a powerful symbol of resilience, transformation, and growth.

Sgraffito Pottery – Carving Through Clay

A collage of twelve ceramic plates with white holiday-themed and nature-inspired designs on green backgrounds, including flowers, a bird, paisley patterns, a Christmas tree, and festive motifs.

Sgraffito is a decorative ceramic technique where designs are carved through a colored clay surface to reveal the natural clay body underneath.

Participants begin by sketching their design ideas, which may include patterns, botanical motifs, brand symbols, abstract textures, or meaningful words. Using carving tools, they gently scratch through the colored surface to reveal the clay beneath, creating striking textures and line work.

Pressed Flower – Capturing Nature in Clay

Collection of small ceramic plates with hand-painted floral and botanical designs in various colors, scattered on a textured surface.

This workshop focuses on creating beautiful clay pieces inspired by nature.

Participants receive stoneware clay slabs along with a selection of fresh or dried flowers, leaves, and botanical textures. By pressing these natural elements into the clay, they create intricate patterns that capture delicate details such as leaf veins and petal structures.

Participants can shape their pieces into plates, trinket dishes, ornaments, or decorative tiles, creating elegant botanical ceramic artwork.
