Santa’s Little Pottery Workshop
Get Ready for Santa!
A Two-Day Christmas Pottery Camp for Kids | November 24 & 25
Ages 8–12 | 10 AM–12 PM each day | $135
Get ready for Santa with a little clay, a lot of creativity, and a sprinkle of Christmas magic!
This Thanksgiving break, join us at Folklorez Pottery Studio for a special two-day pottery camp where young artists will create their very own cookie dish for Santa and a magical mug for his milk!
Imagine the excitement of leaving out cookies on a dish they made themselves, along with a personalized mug just for Santa on Christmas Eve. From choosing their favorite shapes to adding their names, their siblings’ names, or a sweet message for Santa, every creation will be filled with their own imagination and holiday spirit.
What Will We Make?
A Cookie Dish for Santa
Children will hand-build a cookie dish in a shape of their choice. Round, wavy, scalloped, or wonderfully imaginative — anything goes! They can add playful textures, festive designs, their names, their siblings’ names, or a special message like “Dear Santa” or “Cookies for Santa.”
A Magic Mug for Santa
What’s Christmas Eve without milk for Santa? Children will create their own handmade mug and decorate it with Christmas-inspired patterns, stars, candy canes, Santa illustrations, and other imaginative details. Every mug will be one of a kind, just like its maker!
Our Two-Day Creative Adventure
Day 1 — November 24: Get Your Hands in Clay!
10 AM–12 PM
It’s time to get our hands muddy! Children will learn beginner-friendly hand-building techniques as they shape their cookie dish and mug. They’ll explore textures, attach handles, and personalize their pieces with names, impressions, and special messages for Santa.
Day 2 — November 25: Add a Little Christmas Magic!
10 AM–12 PM
Time to bring their creations to life with color! Children will decorate their greenware using ceramic underglazes, choosing festive colors and creating their own designs. From Santa illustrations and candy canes to stars, snowflakes, and personalized messages, every piece will reflect its maker’s creativity.
After the camp, we’ll carefully dry, bisque-fire, glaze, and fire each piece in our studio, transforming the children’s creations into finished ceramic keepsakes.
