Looking for something creative and meaningful for your child to do during Thanksgiving break?
Join us at Folklorez for a three-day hands-on Clay Camp, where kids will spend their time creating, exploring and getting their hands messy with clay!
Over three days, children will discover the joy of hand-building while creating three different Thanksgiving and fall-inspired projects. Each day introduces a new idea and new clay techniques, giving kids the freedom to experiment, problem-solve and make each piece uniquely their own.
What We’ll Create
DAY 1 — Thankful Table
We’ll kick off camp with Thanksgiving-inspired creations! Kids will make adorable mini pumpkins, pies, leaves, vegetables and other little table treasures while learning the basics of hand-building, shaping and adding texture.
DAY 2 — Turkey Time
It’s time to get creative with clay! Each child will sculpt their own whimsical 3D Thanksgiving turkey, learning how to build forms, attach pieces and bring their own personality to their creation. No two turkeys will look alike!
DAY 3 — Fall Glow
We’ll finish camp with a beautiful seasonal keepsake. Kids will create a fall-inspired lantern or decorative piece, using leaves, pumpkins, textures and patterns to create something they can enjoy long after Thanksgiving.
Why Clay?
Clay is more than just a fun activity — it’s a wonderful tool for creative development and hands-on learning.
As children work with clay, they learn to take an idea in their imagination and figure out how to make it real. They experiment, make decisions, solve problems and learn that it’s okay when something doesn’t work the first time — they can reshape it, try again and find a new solution.

At Folklorez, we don’t believe every child’s piece needs to look the same. The beauty is in the process, the imagination and the little imperfections that make each creation their own.

No previous pottery experience is required — just bring your imagination and a willingness to get a little messy!
What’s Included
All clay, materials, tools, glazing and firing are included in the camp fee.
After camp, we’ll carefully dry, glaze and fire each child’s creations. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup at Folklorez within approximately 4–6 weeks.
